Three things I am loving right now:

1. Erin Morgenstern's The Night Circus. It's an amazing book, fascinating and so beautifully written. Totally worthy of its buzz.

I've been reading Hundreds and Thousands, the journals of Emily Carr. Emily was a rare woman, a devoted and determined artist living in British Columbia during the early 1900's, and her journals are a fascinating portrait of the times, of the artistic process and of this tough little maverick who lived amongst the native tribes to study their art ( Read more... )
